But do you know WHAT is healthy for your heart? The list is huge but following foods also count as healthy food choice to prevent a great many heart diseases:</p>

<li>Oatmeal: Eating unprocessed oatmeal lowers down blood cholesterol. Cholesterol is the main culprit of most of the life threatening cardiovascular diseases.</li>

<li>Cauliflower: Not a delight, but cauliflower is packed with antioxidants and is also rich in fiber content. It contains allicin, which proves to lower cholesterol and also reduce the chances of having a MI.</li>
<li>Blueberries: Enriched with powerful antioxidants called resveratrol and flavonoids blueberries protect the heart.</li>
<li>Green tea: Green tea not only is good for heart health but it has a lot more health benefits to offer. It reduces high BP and the ingredients present in it such as catechin and flavnoids offer anti-oxidant benefits.</li>

<p>Calorie count is crucial and very important for people who have more than normal weight. Carbohydrates have always been a question mark for obese people because when on diet, carbohydrates are minimally consumed so that the stored body fat be consumed as a source of energy.</p>
<p>So are carbohydrates bad for fat people? Well, it depends on the type of carbohydrate you are consuming. Let me tell you that carbohydrates are sugars which are used by the body for energy. There are simple as well complex carbs which are digested within the digestive tracts into smaller molecules. Fibers are also a type of carbohydrates that are indigestible.</p>
<p>We can divide carbohydrates into good ones and bad ones. Those which contain fibers are good carbs for example whole grains, vegetables and fruits etc and those which are refined and devoid of fiber content are considered bad carbs.</p>
<p>Good carbs, because they contain a certain amount of fiber, are quite advantageous for people who are willing to lose weight. Also, these give us many more benefits for instance they are good for heart and keep the digestive system clean.</p>
<p>Not only this, good carbs keeps you satiated for a long time because of the fact that they stay inside the stomach and you don’t feel hungry and you ultimately end up eating less.</p>
<p>Also putting a little light on bad carbs, let me tell you that they are not so good for health especially for obese people. So make sure you stay away from bad carbs and added sugar and include good carbs in your diet.</p>

<p>When going on a summer vacation, you should be sure that the food and the liquids consumed by your child and the whole family are safe from bacteria or virus. So be sure to wash and clean them good and prepare then in proper way. If eating in restaurants or hotels always choose food for your children that you suspect with least chance of bacterial presence.  Traveler’s diarrhea is one of the greatest factors for ruining your vacation. It happens because the children metabolism has not yet been exposed to the bacteria or virus that might be in the water or foods. The bacteria does not necessary need to be dangerous, locals consume it every day so their organism is accustomed to it.</p>
<p>Best way to avoid Traveler’s diarrhea is to eat more fruits, especially fruits that need be peeled, drink only bottled water, buy drinks that you are sure are made with purified water, do not swallow water while you are having a shower, brush teeth with bottled water, avoid dairy products on your vacation, avoid street food are any other food, whose quality you suspect. As long as you avoid possible sources of bacteria, you can prevent Traveler’s diarrhea, for you and your children.</p>

Always start light, if you want to go for jogging or cycling, do it for 30 minutes to an hour at your first month.  Of course always choose to train something you will enjoy. There are plenty of activities you can do alone, such as running, cycling, hiking, walking, weightlifting, yoga, swimming etc. and of course many groups’ sports you can practice. In case you choose exercise that is more effective but you don’t like it, there is a greater chance that you will forsake it.</p>
<p>When getting fit, you should always have a plan, a daily plan if possible. Plan your actions so that you have time for your exercise, sleep well, watch television as less as you can, maintain healthy and balanced diet, if you do heavy training take some necessary supplements, try more different activities and sports. Once you start exercise if you endure for a half year at least, it becomes everyday action, and you will enjoy it.</p>

<p>Coughing is a normal physiological response of the body to eliminate any substance that causes irritation to our respiratory tract. When an irritant enters the respiratory tract either from the nose or from the mouth, to expel it out, the lungs expire forcefully and the air exits under high pressure. Thus due to coughing, the airway is cleaned. A cough can be involuntary in response to a stimulus, or voluntary.</p>
<p>Coughing may be caused due to different pathologies and due to underline diseases. Coughing can be chronic or acute. When present for three weeks or less, coughing is said to be acute, and if more than that, it is said to be chronic.</p>
<p>Acute coughs are further categorized into infectious and non-infectious.</p>
<p>Acute cough caused due to the following causes:</p>
<ul>
<li>Acute bronchitis</li>
<li>Upper respiratory infections</li>
<li>Sinus infections</li>
<li>Pneumonia etc</li>
</ul>
<p>Chronic cough may be due to reasons for example:</p>
<ul>
<li>Chronic bronchitis.</li>
<li>Asthma</li>
<li>TB</li>
<li>Emphysema etc.</li>
</ul>
<p>There can allergic reactions caused by different irritants present in the environment. These can be pollens, dust, cigarette smoke, pollutants etc. These can also be the reasons of coughing. Some causes of chronic coughing which are rare include different pathologies in the lungs, in the passage way or other organs such as carcinoma lung, sarcoidosis, CHF due to edema in pleura, infections of the throat, ear infection etc. it might also be due to side effect of some other drug such as of ACE inhibitors etc.</p>
<p>Consult a doctor to rule out the cause of the severe cough be it acute or chronic.</p>

If you are one of those people, great; but if your schedule or your bank account does not allow for a gym membership, or you just don’t like going, I have an alternative: your phone.</p>
<p>I haven’t counted how many fitness apps there are in the app store, but there are a lot. Regardless of your activity of choice, there’s an app for that. Do you enjoy running, but need to make it a little more exciting than just keeping track of your distance and speed? Try zombies, run! And make a game of it. Do you like the social aspect of working out, but not the actual gym environment, then try Fitocracy, a social network devoted to getting in shape complete with groups, challenges and “level-ups” to keep you motivated.</p>

If you have already logged in some hours in a studio with an instructor these apps are a great way to enjoy your daily yoga without the cost but I caution you to not use these if you are new to yoga. Without an instructor to make sure you are doing the poses correctly, you could injure yourself. If you are also interested in monitoring your diet, there are apps that you can keep track of your calorie intake in conjunction with your activity level so you have a good idea if you are burning more calories than you are consuming.</p>

Getting adequate sleep is essential in being able to effectively problem solve and stay productive. If you are having difficulty getting to sleep at night, you may have developed habits that can interfere with getting a good night’s sleep.</p>

<p>What you do in the few hours before you hit the sack can keep you awake, tossing and turning until the wee hours of the morning. Eliminating these few habits can help you get the rest you need to be at your best every morning.</p>
<p>Stay off the computer before bedtime. The brightness of the screen will stimulate your brain and make it hard to fall asleep. You may be in the habit of checking emails or your Facebook before going to bed, but it’s a habit that can keep you up at night.  Avoid bringing books to bed as well. If you are going to read before bed, do it in a different room, that way you don’t condition your brain to think you need to read before falling asleep at night.</p>
<p>Don’t exercise before bedtime, it gets your blood pumping and elevates your body temperature. Make sure your bedroom is completely dark, even the lights from your digital alarm clock can keep you awake. If you can’t fall asleep, don’t lay there tossing and turning, trying to force yourself to sleep, it won’t work. Instead, get up and do something boring until you get sleepy.</p>
<p>Do your best to keep the couple of hours before bedtime mellow and low in stimulation. Avoid caffeine, the computer, exercise and keep your room dark. Invest in a good mattress, it’s worth it. Getting enough rest is essential for your health and well-being.</p>
